My creative journey took an exciting turn in January 2024, when my manager suggested I give needlepoint a try. As a lifelong lover of all things artsy, I’ve explored many media—having run a successful polymer clay jewelry business during COVID and dabbling in everything from painting to crafting. But fiber arts, especially needlepoint, truly captured my heart.

I fell in love with needlepoint immediately—the calming rhythm, the intricate detail, and the sense of mindfulness it brings. More than just a hobby, it became a way to connect with a vibrant and inspiring community, especially here in Raleigh, NC. The shared enthusiasm, the tips and tricks exchanged, the joy of creating something beautiful stitch by stitch—it's a collective passion that’s brought so much warmth and inspiration into my life.

My mission with MH Designs is simple: I want to make needlepoint accessible, affordable, and fun for everyone. You'll find digital charts, printed designs, and even the occasional hand-painted piece—all crafted with love. I truly believe that art should be open to all, free of glass ceilings or guarded gates.
